Town square, Bronkhorst The Netherlands

This is the main town square of Bronkhorst, one of the smallest cities (meaning it was bestowed city rights many years ago) in The Netherlands. The main building in the background is restaurant 't Wapen van Bronkhorst. In the foreground the town'w water pump, which, in early days was the only place for the townspeople to get clean water. Nowadays that pump's water is no longer considered potable, but Ok to cool down with on a break from a hot summer's bike ride.
